A Snapshot of Your Day
Our Hydrogen Solution Bid Manager in the Hydrogen & P2X
Solution business keeps the multi-functional team on track and supervises the
development, preparation and negotiation of high quality, competitive and
innovative offers. In this role, you will be responsible for the completed bid
project objectives including the optimized technical concept, cost calculation,
risks & opportunities, time schedule, quality and for the allocated
proposal budget. You will also technically direct, lead and motivate your multi
functional project team to deliver outstanding results.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Supporting sales
organizations in the development of pure H2, P2X (e.g. Ammonia/ Methanol)
Solution opportunities in the areas of interest of SES (Siemens Energy –
Sustainable Energy System).
- Plan, prepare, and issue
high quality bids that align with customer expectations.
- Lead the bid preparation
with a temporarily assigned multi-functional team of experts as
entrepreneur for respective project opportunities which may contain scope
up to full turn key supply/ EPC scope based on consortium set up.
- The Bid Manager exhibits
high level of dedication, professional knowledge and motivation in
coordinating the proposal team, with the objective of innovative,
high-value, competitive, quality-assured proposals that have a sharp
customer-focus!
- Support the definition of
the adequate business model and the respective negotiations for the
collaboration with Regional Units, Business Units and external partners.
- Support the winning
strategy and optimize the overall project with a complete view.
- You identify and evaluate
customer requirements in RfQs or RfIs and manage the development of the
solution/ system configuration, you continuously challenge identified
risks and opportunities with team members, from bid until handover to
execution team.
- Establish offer documents,
the integration of customer specifics therein and you coordinate the
contribution of key roles supporting the offer.
- Engages in understanding
the global and regional energy transition pertaining to our business and
the business of our customers.
What You Bring
- Successfully completed
University degree in technology, engineering or a comparable degree
- Several years of experience e.g. in multiple discipline
positions in leading teams and as well as in customer and contractor
negotiations, handling proposals, sales, execution directly related to
either the Energy & Power Generation industry, Oil & Gas Industry,
Hydrogen Industry or in similar industrial projects
- You have good overall
technical knowledge within the energy or oil & gas industry
- You have an understanding
of the commercial drivers which facilitate a projects implementation and
success including project execution risks and understand the contributors
to nonconformance costs, delays and techno/economic challenges in an
industrial large scale project business
- You have customer facing
experience and are instrumental in developing relationships, with external
and internal customers, leading to the co-creation of technically complex
project concepts and solutions
