Snapshot of Your Day
You will be part of
a highly motivated team and as an engineer you will make a significant
contribution to the successful delivery of our business unit’s projects. You
will tackle interesting technical challenges, be part of a dynamic project team
and work closely with internal partners and project management. You will help
upgrade existing equipment to new technical standards, add new features and
meet current requirements, resulting in more efficient gas turbines and
satisfied customers.
Through all phases
of the project, from supporting the bid managers to handing over the project to
the customer, you will work with our customers on global modernization projects
and help shape the energy transition towards greater sustainability.
How You’ll Make an
Impact
● Takeover of engineering tasks for modernization
projects in gas-fired and combined cycle power plants on the control and
instrumentation system of the gas turbines
● Preparation of I&C concepts for the
modernization of gas and combined cycle power plants
● Validation of the engineered software during
project test using hardware or virtual simulators
● Presentation of the results of the engineering
and test to the customer
● Commissioning of the previously engineered and
tested software at sites around the world
What You Bring
●
You have successfully completed a technical
degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, power engineering,
mechanical engineering, process engineering or comparable education
●
You have good knowledge in the field of general
electrical engineering and if possible in the power plant sector
●
At best, you have knowledge of process
automation and/or electrical engineering in the area of turbine control
technology
●
You are willing to travel worldwide (up to
approx. 30%)
●
Business fluent English is completing your
profile
●
German language skills are beneficial

Our Gas Services
division offers low-emission power generation through service and
decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines,
steam turbines and generators under one roof. Decarbonization opportunities
through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the
fleet.
