    ICT Teacher required for a secondary school in Bridgend.

    Your new school

    Hays are offering a long-term ICT teacher role at a large secondary school in Bridgend with a mixed intake of pupils. Due to a long-term absence in the ICT department, the school are looking to hire for a teacher of ICT and Computer Science. The leadership team have a strong vision which is communicated well throughout the school to create a welcoming and inclusive ethos.

    Your new role

    You will work as a part of a successful department and will be responsible for:

  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 ICT as well as KS5 Computer Science.
  • Full planning, preparation and assessment duties.
  • Actively taking part in departmental meetings.
  • Pastoral duties including parent’s evenings.
  • What you’ll need to succeed
    You will be a qualified teacher, and you will have previous experience of within a secondary school or college or have completed a PGCE in ICT or Computer Science.

  • Previous experience of delivering ICT or Computer Science.
  • Hold a valid PGCE.
  • Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing of pupils.
  • Up to date EWC registration.
