    Solutions Architect – OpenRAN

    Newbury

    £500pd outside IR35

    A global Telecommunications client is looking for an experienced OpenRAN Solutions Architect to join them on a contract basis.This role will broadly be responsible for designing, vetting and testing OpenRAN Solutions complying to 3GPP & ORAN Alliance standards.

    Key responsibilities:

    • OpenRAN Design / architecture management.
    • Management of release structures from OpenRAN vendors – vetting suitability and preparation for Vodafone Lab testing.
    • OpenRAN Lab testing, test case management, for OpenRAN products, complying to 3GPP & ORAN Alliance standards.

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Have experience in working with and deploying the entire Samsung ecosystem and cloud elements – highly desirableHave demonstratable experience as a Solutions Architect, designing and testing OpenRAN solutions
    • Have a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of Cloud IP/Design/ Mobile network architecture/strategy.
    • Be highly skilled in networking technologies (Dell/Cisco environments or other relevant systems)
    • Be entirely comfortable in working with sysadmin, OpenRAN, Kubernetes, Linux, CaaS, RAN, OpenSource tools,

    Additionally, the ideal candidate will have worked with the following system and integration and testing companies:

    • Amdocs, TechM, Aspire, Rakuten, Samsung, Google, Mavenir
