Whatyou’ll do
As our ProvisioningManager, you’ll be vital to the successful delivery of our strategyand purpose. Through in-depth analysis, strategic foresight, andyour credit risk expertise, you’ll work to support NW Boxed acrossthe spectrum of impairments relatedactivities.
Day to day,you’ll:
- Support NWBoxed on new client acquisitions and due diligencework
- Manage monthly impairment processes andinsight for NW Boxed alongside quarterly provision adequacygovernance
- Manage a monthly rolling forecastfor NW Boxed impairments and supporting strategic forecasts andstress testing
- Support the team lead to achieveteam goals by leading on provisioning interactions with thebusiness, finance and credit risk teams
- Buildand maintain strong relationships with keystakeholders
- Maintain a robust controlenvironment in all impairmentprocesses
Theskills you’llneed
Withan aptitude for analytics and a questioning mindset, you’ll havethe ability to identify patterns and analyse data to deliver clearconclusions about the information you’re working with.
You’llalso find yourself needing to bring others around to your way ofthinking, so if you have the confidence and communication skills tobe able to do that, then you’re well on your way tobecoming a highly valued member of ourteam.
As well as this, you’llneed a good understanding of the banking industry, its riskmanagement, and the regulatory requirements and have experience ofworking successfully with multiplestakeholders.
In addition,you’lldemonstrate:
- Excellentanalytical skills as well as p revious experience withthe development and practical application IFRS 9 provisioning andhave a broad awareness of consumer credit riskpractices
- Strong project and task managementskills, with the ability to work as a team and withstakeholders
- The ability to explain technicalsubject matter to a non-technicalaudience
- Experience in supporting and coachingbusinesses in a consultative role, supporting business developmentconversations and working collaboratively with a wide range ofstakeholders to balanceobjectives
- Preferable experience ofportfolio acquisitions or due diligence work and the ability to beinnovative and pragmatic when working under tighttimescales
