CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant, to join our client based in Cornwall. This is a permanent role, where the successful candidate will provide technical support within their metallurgical laboratory.
The Laboratory Assistant Role:
- Assist in preparing metallurgical samples for testing and analysis.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Perform routine metallurgical tests.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, test results, and other relevant data.
- Calibrate laboratory instruments and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist in organizing and storing samples and materials.
Your Background:
- High school diploma or equivalent or an associate s degree in a related field.
- Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a metallurgical or materials science environment.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
