Are you a Learning Support Assistant looking for a September role. We are looking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join us at one of our fantastic colleges in Hackney. Specific duties of the post will vary depending on the individual needs of the student.
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is:
- Organised with excellent communication skills
- Able to support students with aspects of challenging behaviour.
- Dedicated with a great work ethic
- Able to carry out other duties as may be reasonably required.
Learning Support Assistant Main Duties:
- To work with students within the classroom supporting the lecturer
- To work with small groups and individuals with additional needs.
- Encourage students to work towards independence
- To ensure safe travel and support during trips
Learning Support Assistant Requirements:
- Experience with supporting young people Available to work weekdays
- Good standard of education including maths and English GCSE C or equivalent
- Good Communication skills both written and verbal
