    A Junior School based in Wolverhampton is looking for a Level 2 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join them, working with a Year 4 child with Autism. Receiving a “GOOD” in their last Ofsted report, this school offers a rich, stimulating and rewarding learning environment for all students and staff.     Your new role
    Starting in September, you will be supporting a Year 4 child with Autism. In this role, you will support the child in the morning from 8:30am-3:30pm with Literacy and Maths. You will be planning and delivering effective teaching materials tailored to the child’s individual needs and encouraging the educational and personal development of the child.Strong communication skills, patience, resilience and a dedication to the child’s academic progress are essential for success in this role.

    What you’ll need to succeed

    • You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
    • Must hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
    • You will be required to have experience working within KS2.
    • You will need strong communication skills, especially in a 1:1 setting.
    • Recent experience of working in support of children with Autism.
