Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation - Fife

Vivid Healthcare are recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a busy inpatient Occupational Therapy team delivering a high quality service to adult inpatients. This role is ideal for a therapist with a strong interest in inpatient rehabilitation, including stroke rehabilitation, and complex discharge planning.

The Role

You will work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team providing specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention to patients with complex rehabilitation needs. The position requires strong clinical reasoning, effective communication skills, and a commitment to delivering person centered care.

As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will demonstrate leadership within the team, working alongside other Band 6 therapists and supporting the development of Band 5 staff and therapy support workers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist OT assessment and treatment within an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Manage complex discharge planning and rehabilitation pathways
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Provide supervision and support to junior staff and support workers
• Contribute to service development and best practice initiatives
