    Staff Partners are seeking dedicated and experienced Locum Consultants in Psychiatry to join our Locum team in a number of areas across Yorkshire, Humberside and County Durham. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, particularly focusing on Psychiatric patients. These positions requires a strong commitment to patient welfare and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

    Learning Disabilities within the Community and Inpatients
    Forensic Psychiatry
    Rehabilitation Psychiatry

    Responsibilities
    Provide comprehensive medical care to Adults, Adolescents and children, ensuring their health and wellbeing is prioritised.
    Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients’ conditions, formulating appropriate treatment plans.
    Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with organisational policies.
    Participate in clinical audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of services.
    Educate patients and their families about health management and preventive care strategies.
    Stay informed about the latest developments in paediatric medicine and best practices.

    Skills
    Proven experience in providing patient care, particularly with children, is essential.
    Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
    Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
    Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanour in challenging situations.
    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
    GMC full licence to practise
    Approved Clinician status (Desirable)
    Section 12 approval (Essential)
    Specialist Registration in Psychiatry (CCT, Desirable)

    Pay: £105.00-£130.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
