About the Company:You would be working for an education facility within Liverpool.
About the role: The role’s purpose is to support the finance team, proactively contribute to improving the day-to-day finance operations, managing resources to support best value, and promote public accountability.
Duties:
Manage expenditure within the budget
Prepare weekly/monthly bank statement reconciliations
Process monthly recharges and reconcile credit card expenditures
Prepare monthly VAT returns and year-end VAT reconciliation
Assist with budget planning, monitoring, and evaluation
Update finance system with new budgets
Assist with payroll tasks and process related journals
Maintain fixed assets register and update utilities/energy usage information
Prepare monthly management accounts
Manage income and expenditure for financial projects and school activities
