Antony James Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be working with a growing housing associating based in Doncaster in recruiting a Management Accountant.
In this highly flexible role you will work 2 days from the office and 3 from home (9am – 5pm – 35hrs a week).
Being at least AAT qualified and potentially either CIMA or ACCA qualified you will must have experience in a similar role and comfortable overseeing a small transactions team.
Main Duties
- Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
- Measuring the company’s financial performance based on financial records
- Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management
- Supervising the internal accounting team
- Performing audits of departments within the organisation
- Overseeing other aspects of financial operations such as bookkeeping and payroll
- Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
- Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial managers
This is initially a 6 month FTC with possible extension paying the equivalent of between £40k and £44.5k annually.
Having experience within the housing and or local authority or public sector would be an advantage.
