    The Managing Director
     will be responsible for driving the energy transition in the Netherlands and act as Siemens Energy Brand Ambassador/Country key representative through proximity to customers, authorities, internal & external stakeholders.
     
    The energy transition is a tremendous business/market development opportunity, and the role will focus on leading transformation, delivering growth and creating success by building a culture that fosters collaboration and which our people can delight our customers according to our Siemens Energy Values. 
     
    The role will be based in the Netherlands with travel requirements. You will report to the Sub Region Vice President.
     
     
     
    How You’ll Make an Impact
     
    • Act as Siemens Energy’s key representative in the country through proximity to customers, authorities and other stakeholders & shareholders; orchestrate, support and coordinate the internal stakeholders in order to achieve the optimal result for SE and Wind Power.
    • Lead and role model the transformation of Siemens Energy by creating a collaborative environment internally to meet evolving needs of our customers/market.
    • Develop Dutch roadmaps for the energy transition and its market development strategy, including partner & network strategy.
    • Promote, lead and drive development and talent management for the local team.
    • Provide platform for the responsible SE Business Areas to successfully operate on.
    • Ensure that legal rules and regulations are adhered to in the country.
    • Co-lead and support the Key Account community in the country.
     
     
    What You Bring 
     
    • Successful track record in leading transformation in the energy industry
    • Talented and well-rounded senior industrial executive with extensive exposure across functions within a multi-national corporation
    • Superb leadership (prior experience) and teamwork qualities; you should be versatile, creative, lean, agile, and pro-actively get into the details and work in a hands-on way
    • Deep understanding of Dutch Energy landscape and industry
    • Network and experienced in building relations with key clients, governmental officials (lobbying) and the internal stakeholders
    • Individual who promotes and drives change management and collaboration and embraces Siemens Energy’s values and role model our key behaviors
    • Proficient in English/ Dutch
