    Join our dynamic Turbine Mechanical Integrity team as a material model engineer!

    As a Material Model Engineer, you will be engaged in the entire process, from test planning to the development and implementation of material models, ensuring they are ready for daily use by our engineering team. You will collaborate closely with our colleagues in the materials laboratory. The team engages in a variety of tasks, including FEA analysis, alloy development, constitutive modelling, methodology development, and providing support to workshops, procurement, and service.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Develop, implement and improve constitutive and life material models for high temperature applications

    • Contribute to methodology and procedure development for constitutive and life material modelling

    • Support development and technology projects by assessing, planning and evaluating material testing

    • Provide support in response to inquiries from eg. manufacturing and customers



    What You Bring

    • Ph.D. in solid mechanics or a related field

    • Extensive expertise in material modeling, supported by several years of experience and a robust theoretical foundation

    • Experience with FEM analysis for lifing calculations, with a strong understanding of relevant principles and methodologies.

    • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

    • A collaborative approach and strong communication skills

    Our Gas Services division
     offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
