    Mechanical Site Manager (Assembly) – Leading M&E Contractor – Craigavon

    A top-tier, multi-award-winning building services contractor in the UK is currently on the lookout for a Mechanical Site Manager. The role involves supporting their mechanical assembly production at a facility situated in Gilford. This is a permanent role that provides an excellent opportunity to work on-site without the need for travel.

    Your new role

  • Coordinate with project management teams in weekly meetings to discuss project progress and programmes.
  • Oversee the management of raw materials and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Review all assembly drawings prior to entering the production line for correct measurements and specification.
  • Ensure company assembly procedures are adhered to and developed.
  • Regularly communicate with line managers regarding labour resources, training, machinery, and any non-conformances.
  • Supporting weekly progress reports and target advancements on individual project.
  • Ensuring the project progress in a timely manner and in accordance with project programs and specifications.
  • Manage and schedule workload accordingly in the assembly facilities.
  • Identify skills levels and develop an expanding assembly team
  • What you’ll need to succeed

    Essential Criteria:

  • Prior experience in the role of a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager ideally within the construction sector
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in using Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to organise your work in a structured manner.
  • Capability to handle pressure and manage a varied portfolio of work.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven and enthusiastic, with the ability to inspire colleagues while maintaining high productivity levels.
  • Desirable Criteria:

    • Previous experience with leading continuous improvement programmes.
