How You’ll Make an Impact
•
Follow
established safe work methods and ensure that the work is carried out in
accordance with valid EHS regulations.
•
Assist
the site manager in coordinating and supervising the project activities or act
as the site manager.
• Carry
out, terminate and supervise on the Assembly/Disassembly works within the area
in accordance with valid instructions, checklists, specifications and
regulations, if not instructed otherwise by project management.
•
Report
work progress and establish non-conformity reports.
•
Participate
in project meetings with project team and with customer when needed.
•
Keep
necessary project information/documentation up to date.
•
Control
& track material of shipments and perform inventory work together with
customer.
•
Facilitate
handover of responsibility when shifting personnel
•
Pack
and prepare the tools, materials and parts for return to Siemens Energy
•
Assist
in preparing list of open points (punch list) at the end of D/A, participate in
the kick-Out meeting and preparing the Project’s Lessons learned.
•
Practice
Siemens Energy ownership culture and take responsibility for a task or a fault
until it is addressed accordingly.
What You Bring
•
Degree level in Mechanical,
Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics or Equivalent Education
•
Minimum
of 5 years of experience.
•
Have a strong work ethic and able to
demonstrate initiative, be a flexible self-starter, working with the minimum
direction and can work with a wide range of people as well as be a team player.
•
Good Leadership skills.
•
Excellent communication, interpersonal
& Coordination skills.
•
Able to interpret installation manuals
and drawings, including general engineering drawings, control schematics and
Pipe fitting drawings such as P&ID and Isometric drawings.
•
Be able to summarize all the key points in manuals and cascade the
data to all stakeholders.
•
Ability to mobilize at short notice
for emergency situations as well being away from home for extended periods (4
months+) including weekends.
•
Hold or be able to obtain offshore
working safety certificates.
•
Excellent and professional English
communication skills both written and oral.
•
Basic Knowledge in LOTO, H2S, Cranes
& Forklifts operation, usage of hydraulic tools & safety requirements
(Electrical Safety, Working in Confined Spaces, First Aid, …etc.).
•
Knowledge of Operation, maintenance in industrial, oil and gas and
Power generation businesses.
•
Knowledge of Commissioning and units’
erection is a plus.
