    We are recruiting a qualified Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) to join a well-established, creative, and supportive SEN school based in the London borough of Wandsworth.

    You will be working directly with pupils aged 11 – 19, all diagnosed with ASD, challenging behaviour and associated learning difficulties; The school provides personalised and holistic education to children and young people diagnosed with Autism/ASC.

    They have an in-house therapy team, and you will have fantastic CPD and training opportunities!

    • Working with children and young people with Autism/ASC and moderate to severe learning disabilities
    • Permanent contract; full-time or part-time (term time only)
    • Salaries in line with NHS Band Scales

    Ideal Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist:

    • Must be HCPC registered
    • Has a degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent
    • Has experience working with children and young people with special needs, particularly with Autism/ASC and associated learning difficulties
    • Has personal interests in supporting children and young people with special needs
    • A positive, proactive, and patient individual who can build good working relationships with children, teachers, parents, and carers
    • A team player and has great communication skills

    Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist’s Main Responsibilities:

    • Providing both individual and group speech and language therapy services to children
    • Attending and contributing to staff meetings and Annual Review meetings
    • Working closely with the rest of the multidisciplinary team, as well as teachers and support staff
    • Providing a creative and nurturing learning environment where children can reach their potential
    • Being fully aware of the school policy and implementing Health and Safety Regulations, including Risk Assessment
