An exciting opportunity has arisen within a thriving business support team for a Secretary (Patents).

Key Responsibilities

As part of a friendly and hard-working secretarial team, you will provide high-quality support to busy fee-earners. Your duties will include:

  • Preparing and issuing invoices
  • Drafting correspondence and preparing documents
  • Communicating with clients, agents and external contacts
  • Updating internal systems and databases, including Inprotech
  • Providing tailored support to meet specific client requirements, including using client portals/document management systems
  • Managing records and general administrative tasks

About You

  • At least 12 months’ secretarial experience within an Intellectual Property (IP) environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise multiple deadlines, and comfortable working on your own initiative
  • Experience with invoicing and/or Inprotech is an advantage
