    Job title: Pipefitter

    Location: Glasgow – Govan and Scotstoun – Based on site and must be able to attend a recruitment day in Glasgow. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

    Salary: £37,318 (shift allowance of 33% may be applicable)

    Requirements: Trade Papers to be provided

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Fabricating and installing pipework systems in large and small-bore pipework using different materials (copper, cuni and carbon steel)
    • Using a range of hand tools & mechanical equipment to cut, bend, braze, solder and weld pipes
    • Installing utilities aboard ship i.e., sinks, showers, and toilets

    Your skills and experiences:

    • Trade papers, e.g., formal Modern apprenticeship (ability to provide papers)
    • Current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture and installation, and use of associated equipment
    • Clear understanding of SHE risks awareness
    • Understanding of manufacturing processes
    • Comfortable working in confined spaces and or at height
    • Safety certification i.e., SHE induction, COSHH awareness, working at height etc
    • Background in a major construction / manufacturing environment
