    Salary: Up to £47,475.00 per annum dependent on experience

    Hours: 38.5 hours per week; Full Time

    Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

    We are looking for a SEN Teacher to join our fantastic team at Upton Grange School in Slough. As a SEN Teacher you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils achievement and ability to develop.

    This is a great opportunity for a SEN Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

    A passion and experience of working within a SEN/ASC environment is essential. During the interview process we will invite you to come into school, meet the team and our pupils and take a tour around the school.

    Qualification requirements: QTS or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills and Nationally recognised degree. You will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.

    Upton Grange School is a new specialist ASD provision. We have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teacher to join our team due to growth and a new extension to our school. As part of the Hillingdon Manor group of schools and the Outcomes First Group, Upton Grange will offer day provision to pupils with Autism from the ages of 3 to 11 years old.

    Upton Grange will provide specialist education for c35 pupils, aged between 4-11 years. Upton Grange deploys a wide range of teaching strategies to engage and develop the progress of learners, who present with a range of learning difficulties and styles. Our pupils are taught in smaller class sizes and work towards an Equals Semi-Formal Curriculum and National Curriculum expectations where appropriate.
