We are currently working with a new build developer who are looking for a Procurement Contract Manager to help manage procurement activities across the housing development projects across the Southwest. You will be working as part of a team who pride themselves in exceptional quality homes and who aim to build communities within Somerset and Bristol.Procurement Contract ManagerSalary: From £35,000Location: SomersetWorking days: Monday to Friday As a Procurement Contract Manager, you will be:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to source materials, subcontractors and services in a cost-effective manner
- Liaise with company stakeholders, project managers, architects and engineers to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive procurement plans
- Evaluate and identify suppliers, handling negotiations of terms and conditions
- Manage contract admin duties, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and amending
- Monitor contractor performance levels, ensuring compliance with contracts and resolving any contractual issues and disputes
To be successful in this Procurement Contract Manager role, you will need to have:
- Proven experience within a similar role within the property development industry or construction industry
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, terms and conditions
- Keen attention to detail and time management skills
