How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and coach shop floor employees to carry
out production activities in full compliance with company EHS policy. - Implement quality control measures
and ensure compliance
with applicable industry standards - Developing work instructions to execute
assembly/packaging operations - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for
smooth execution of packaging projects - Oversee shop floor activities, ensuring project
deadlines are met by utilizing optimized resources. - Reviewing and validating tooling and fixtures
required during manufacturing process, and ensure it is optimized to meet the
required performance - Develop and lead training programs for
production staff to ensure a skilled and competent workforce. - Resolve daily complexities by implementing
quick and effective solutions. - Monitor consumables and ensure availability
when needed - Evaluates and contributes to implementation of
maintenance programs - Apply continuous improvement principles to
drive process enhancements
What you Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 10 years of experience or above as
Production/Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing/assembly plant - Rotating Equipment Experience will be added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS office, ERP system, CAD
software and lean principles - Fluency in both Arabic and English
- Experience in interpreting and reading
technical drawings - Ability to comprehend international
standards - Expertise and skills to plan, design, execute
up, optimize and improve manufacturing processes - KPI’s oriented with drive to achieve
results - Excellent oral and written communication
skills. - Leadership personality with high level of
coaching and training - Effective problem solving using basic Six Sigma
methodologies is a bonus
