Production Group Supervisor

How You’ll Make an
Impact

• Oversee
  mechanical activities related to the assembly, packaging, and testing of gas
  turbines and compressors for power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical,
  and related industries
• Collaborate
  within a cross-functional matrix organization to consistently achieve
  high-quality standards, ensuring projects are completed on time and within
  budget.
• Lead
  and support a Siemens Energy package assembly team, including Siemens Energy
  employees and numerous third-party contract technicians.
• Foster
  a culture of teamwork, excellence, and inclusiveness.
• Perform
  mechanical assembly of packaged systems, including large electric motors, turbo
  compressors, gearboxes, lube oil systems, seal gas panels, process pipework,
  instrumentation tubes & fittings, junction boxes, cable trays, and similar
  components onto baseplates for packaged systems, often exceeding 200,000 kg.
• Interpret
  and apply assembly drawings, P&IDs, line diagrams, inspection test plans,
  and other technical documents for packaged systems.
• Support
  the generation of assembly quality records for ongoing projects.
• Prepare
  equipment, consumables, and tools for daily package assembly needs.
• Assist
  in the maintenance of packaging and production equipment.
• Establish
  and refine working practices for packaging operations.
• Engage
  in discussions with production and quality management to ensure product quality
  and customer satisfaction

What you Bring

• A
  degree in Packaging Production and Engineering or a related field from an
  accredited university or college. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At
  least 5 years of extensive and hands-on experience in Assembly & Packaging
  activities for Rotating Equipment, with recent practical involvement.
  • Pipework
    and structural welding & manufacture.
  • Electrical
    cable, tray and conduit system assembly
  • Tubing
    and Instrument systems assembly
  • Assembly,
    alignment and cleanliness of critical components.
  • Knowledge
    of painting systems.
• Field
  Service experience in maintaining Gas Turbine or Compressor packages is highly
  advantageous, particularly in the alignment of rotating equipment and process
  piping.
• Thorough
  understanding of applicable international and industry standards.
• Strong
  proficiency in MS Office and CAD systems.
• Fluency
  in English is essential, with a strong preference for Arabic language skills.
• Excellent
  verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability
  to understand, interpret, and resolve assembly-related issues in complex
  technical situations.
• A
  strong commitment to quality.
