Day
Project Management, as a professional subject area, forms a backbone
within the operational execution model of Siemens-Energy and is supported and
recognized with both internal and external accreditation. Within the Aero Gas Turbine business
internship candidates are being sought to support opportunities with both pure
project management and business development workstreams – there is a degree of
overlap in the tasks hence the commonality of these roles under this one
selection process. From internally
focused projects that deliver solutions to support customer delivery, through
direct end customer interaction with operational challenges, to shaping the
future. The live tasks supported across
all placements will provide development and growth in an exciting and diverse service
environment.
How You’ll Make an
Impact
- Collaborate with a variety of partners
in multiple functions and locations of the Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) business in
the delivery of internal and external customer requirements. - Challenging convention,
questioning the ‘norm’ and encouraging the business to innovate. - Build your Continuous Improvement
skills and confidence through Lean Six Sigma training and owning/implementing
continuous improvement initiatives.
Become an active member within a team of Entry
Level Talent (Apprentices/Interns/Graduates) to participate in wider business
projects through our culture hub. The scope of these projects will provide you
with valuable opportunities to contribute to society, offer team working
experiences and opportunities to enhance presentation skills.
What You Bring
- Be on track to graduate with a 2:2 degree or above and have a passion
for order and organisation with exceptional communication skills - Enjoy jumping in and, with support from us, feel confident taking
responsibility for live tasks and projects you’ve been assigned either
individually or as part of a physical or virtual team - Are flexible, know how to connect and communicate with others and pride
yourself on being positive - Are comfortable with change and able to react to unexpected challenges
with enthusiasm both as part of a team and whilst leading others - Willingness to embrace continuous improvement with the ability to
generate creative solutions to problems - The ability to speak, fluently, in a second language may be advantageous
About the Team
Both project management and business development are embedded functions
within the Aero Gas Turbine product line and form integral parts of the overall
customer delivery experience. The
internship will be a placement alongside one of the teams where these
disciplines form the backbone of the function allowing you to explore this
professional area further.
Our Gas
Services
division offers Low-emission power generation through service
and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines
under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities
through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
