Project Manager (f/m/d) for Battery Storage Service Offerings

    In this important and dynamic role, you will be responsible for executing multi-year service projects including LTSA (long term service agreements) for stationary battery storage projects. You will be a critical team member focused on the development, go-to-market, tendering, and execution of service BESS products. In collaboration with the customer, initial build / EPC team, regional service teams; your responsibilities include the execution of projects starting at commissioning and continuing throughout the life of the plant. 
    How You’ll Make an Impact
    • “You own the project” – transforming it from a signed contract to a satisfied customer
    • Accountable and responsible for planning and executing service storage client projects (cost, time, functionality, customer satisfaction)
    • Handle all Project Excellence@Siemens Energy relevant planning elements and milestone work results, incl. setting up and maintaining the Project Management Plan 
    • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, partners, and customers (incl. change requests, contract, claim management)
    • Support growth opportunities, sales pipeline with existing and new customers in conjunction with the sales manager and local sales teams
    • Define, design, implement and continuously improve the PM framework of executing service storage projects (BESS) service projects globally
    • Manage customer expectations and requirements with respect to functionality and overall quality of the provided solution
    • Act as mentor to junior and less experienced colleagues and lead the lessons learned and supporting activities for continuous improvement in product and process
    What You Bring
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or M.Sc. and 5+ years of professional experience in client-facing project management and project execution in the energy sector with a track record in either utility scale storage projects, power grids, complex services or tendering of services 
    • Industry-relevant project management (PMP) certification with excellent stakeholder management skills and basic understanding of stationary battery storage systems, technologies, and components including batteries, transformers, controls, or power conversion systems
    • Understanding of service offerings including LTSAs, performance & availability guarantees, RAM, and field service
    • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills in English and German
    • Solution oriented and customer centric with a mindset to win 
    • Motivated and ability to self-organize and prioritize complex tasks in an intercultural and global environment
