A Snapshot of Your Day
You are supporting the Siemens Energy Global Sales organization in developing business opportunities for competitive and innovative applications of insulators and surge arresters in overhead line systems, focusing primarily, but not exclusively on the Middle East Region. Your responsibilities include promoting our solutions and expertise to the market, evaluating market capacity and needs, the go-to-market, and overseeing order intake. You are supported by adjacent departments and teams to ensure the technical and commercial accuracy of order intake and offer creation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop individual technical solutions for overheadline products based on specifications using a powerful configuration tool and collaborate with technical departments to find optimal technical solutions for clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact for international technical clarifications, alignment, and support requests from clients worldwide
- Liaise with sales organizations, factory planning, technical departments, and quality management to maintain and enhance customer satisfaction
- Engage with end users, resellers, and agents to address market needs, including conducting contract negotiations and organizing visits, presentations, trainings, and qualification processes
- Initiate and align growth plans and market development strategies
- Drive innovation by rethinking the status quo, finding new solutions, creating effectiveness, and challenging existing processes
What You Bring
- Degree in electrical engineering or similar field with a strong technical understanding of high voltage products
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, R&D, or PLM in the energy industry or similar
- Goal-driven team player with a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and questioning the standards
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, internally & externally, at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in English, German or any other language is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office with strong analytical and organizational skills
