    A Snapshot of Your Day

    As a Project Manager in the
    Building Solutions team, you’ll lead construction projects that enable the
    production of future sustainable products. You’ll manage timelines, costs, and
    quality while overseeing designers, contractors, and site managers. Daily,
    you’ll handle pre-construction tasks, secure permits, and manage contracts,
    ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your leadership will help shape facilities
    that align with the company’s commitment to meeting societal needs.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • We are looking for a self-driven
      project manager to support our Building Solutions team in Mexico (Estados
      Querétaro / Guanajuato)
    • The Building Solutions team is
      responsible for the construction of all the major buildings within the company,
      from new build to building extensions
    • Your responsibilities within the
      Building Solutions will include
      :
    • Managing the project team,
      including but not limited to designers, architects, HSE, site project managers
    •  Proactively manage and be
      responsible for the project execution in accordance with timeline, costs,
      risks, safety and quality.
    • Supporting the pre-construction
      activities of the project: scope definition, project setup and strategy,
      design, permitting, tendering and construction start.
    • Managing the construction
      activities of the project: General Contractor contract and claim management,
      HSE, handover to operations.
    •  Hire and manage the activities of
      several subcontractors: designer, project management company, general
      contractor or built-to-suit developer.
    • Lead the interface
      towards the land owner or lessor, and local authorities for all permitting and
      construction topics ,prepare and present regular project reporting

    What You Bring 

    The ideal candidate has master’s
    degree in construction engineering, civil engineering, MEP engineering,
    architecture or similar. Furthermore, you have proven experience within project
    management.

    To succeed in this role you:

    •  Professional background: Civil
      Engineering, Architecture, or related.
    •  Have at least 3 years of work experience in project
      management in the context of construction projects of industrial facilities
      or in manufacturing
      (energy sector is a plus)
    • Have a strong understanding of the main CAPEX drivers in the
      design and construction of industrial facilities and strong experience in
      construction contract management.
    • Are PM certified (e.g. PMP, IPMA or equivalent)
    •  Are used to work in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project),
      ideally Autocad
    •  Are very fluent (verbally and written) in Spanish and
      English, e.g. able to negotiate and review contacts. Another language is a plus
    • Show great leadership, strong communication and cooperation
      skills in a complex and diverse project environment, able to convince,
      negotiate, motivate and steer project teams
