Job Description: Internal Project Manager
A Snapshot of Your Day
The Internal Project Manager will lead complex global
projects across multiple functions. The scope of the Internal Project Manager
includes defining project scope and deliverables. The Internal Project Manager
will manage the project to deliver the desired business results.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Compliance
and Safety
: Ensure adherence to standards, rules, and regulations,
implementing measures to uphold a zero-harm policy in environment, health,
and safety. Regularly check compliance in projects and with
subcontractors. - Team
Leadership
: Guide, support, motivate, and develop project team members
to achieve project and organisational goals. - Project
Implementation
: Effectively implement projects to meet financial and
commercial objectives using Project Excellence @ Siemens Energy (PE@SE)
methodologies. - Project
Management
: Oversee project/program management activities, including
schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity, and resource allocation for
complex projects or programs. Guide continuous improvement plans and
project expansion opportunities. - Financial
Oversight and Reporting
: Ensure correct cost assignment and
monitoring, prepare commercial information for project reporting and
status discussions, identify and assess financial opportunities and risks,
and provide analysis and feedback to the project team and management.
What You Bring
- Educational
and Professional Experience
: BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics,
or Management with 10+ years of experience managing large, complex
projects, including cross-functional projects. Experience as a Project
Manager in category B/C or equivalent. - Technical
Proficiency
: Proficient in SAP, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the
ability to present information clearly to project teams and management.
Strong influencing skills to drive organisation and behaviour. - Subject
Matter Expertise
: Knowledge in Risk Management, System Engineering,
and solid accounting principles. Experience in an Enterprise Resource
Planning (ERP) environment. - Communication
and Collaboration
: Strong ability to communicate and work with
international teams across different countries and cultures. Willingness
to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 25%. - Preferred
Qualifications
: Prior experience within Siemens Services M&U
business or equivalent, industry-recognised Project Management
certifications (e.g., PMI PMP, IPMA), and knowledge of PE@SE.
