Snapshot of Your Day
As a Temporary Proposal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the
local Client Facing Team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve
maintaining close communication with counterparts at PCC to ensure clarity and
follow-up on project details. We are seeking a candidate with a proven track
record in successfully delivering complex project proposals and who is
comfortable engaging with management at both internal and external levels. You
will collaborate closely with the sales team and take charge of overseeing the
development and submission of proposals for various projects and contracts.
Your ability to manage intricate, multi-workstream proposals while adhering to
internal governance procedures will be essential for success in this role.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Proposal
Preparation:
Prepare
formal bids and proposals utilizing existing computer systems and tools to
efficiently generate quotes and orders. - Tendering Services
: Manage
tenders for standard service products, including spare parts, overhauls,
repairs, field service, and product training. - Clarification and
Communication
: Clarify
proposal details and maintain communication with Product Line (PL)
locations responsible for the unit. Prepare Requests for Quotations (RfQs)
for both internal and third-party scopes. - Bundled Proposals:
Consolidate
bundled proposals in collaboration with PL locations and the Regional
Entity (RE) to ensure comprehensive offerings. - DAMEX Checks:
Conduct
DAMEX checks to ensure compliance and accuracy in proposals. - Project
Management:
Oversee
order management in coordination with other departments and PL locations,
ensuring seamless execution of projects. - Opportunity
Tracking:
Maintain
an updated status of assigned opportunities and orders in Salesforce.com to facilitate effective
tracking and reporting. - Support for Client
Facing Team:
Provide
administrative support to the Client Facing Team, including managing
paperwork and documentation.
What You
Bring
- Availability to travel
and make visits to customers - 5+ years’ experience in
preparing business proposals and/or bids. - Proficiency in managing
multiple proposals simultaneously, familiarization with project management
tools and methodology - Strong organizational
skills to maintain deadlines and manage resources effectively - Minimum technical to
interpret and understand scope and solutions requirements for the preparation
of commercial proposals. - sales and marketing
planning, product characteristics, and customer specifications. - University degree in
Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
