A Snapshot of Your Day
The Public Relations Manager is responsible for a team in Abu Dhabi and
Dubai who handle the entire process management of the different stages of the
UAE visa and related services. The scope of work is wide from query &
consultation, to application, to monitoring, issuing and communication of the
visa issuance and liaising with support executives. It is vital that the PRO
manager supports and transfers all relevant rules, regulations, requirements,
fees and procedures. It is essential to have a clear understanding of the
various responsibilities.
How You’ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities
- Administer employment visas/ mission visas/ work permits for local hires
& delegates - Lead the team to renew employee visas in Abu Dhabi Immigration &
labor cards in MOHRE - Facilitate residence visa issuance & renewals for dependents of
employees - Provide advice to business & employees on company policies, all visa
formalities and other government related procedures - Assisting with issuance and renewal of CICPA Gate Pass
- Cancel employment visas and work permits for leavers
- Liaise with the Public Relation Officers and stay updated about changes
in UAE Law & Immigration processes - Monitoring and maintaining the WPS percentage to ensure compliance with
local laws - Lead the legal team with Company Trade License and Establishment Card
renewals - Maintain employee records for visa related activities on HR Systems
(Visa Tool, Workday, Electronic Personnel Archive) - Monthly reporting of all visa related expenses to the accounting team
- Pension registration and deletion of Emirati & GCC Employees on
ADPF, GOSI, GPSSA - Perform all relevant activities on the MOHRE System (Tasheel)
- Any other tasks that are administered by management and team leaders
What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities
- 15 plus years of experience in the UAE
- Team management
- Critical thinking with the ability to identify issues & implement
changes - Excellent analytical skills and solution-driven approach
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Knowledge of government portals and procedures
- Microsoft Office skills
