Joining us in Forensics
Grant Thornton’s Financial Crime & Investigations (FCI) is the first port of call for an increasing number of firms in the UK market when grappling with financial crime prevention, incident response, investigation and remediation.
Joining us as a Quality Control Analyst – Know Your Assets (KYA)in Forensics, you will initially work on a project delivering BAU and remedial KYA due diligence services for a large asset manager.Once this project is completed, you will have the freedom to continue working with us on projects that you choose, whether full or part-time within Forensics and support our clients and internal teams on short to medium-term assignments. We’re looking for a Quality Control Analyst to conduct detailed reviews of KYA due diligence and screening, to support our KYA Analysts and to help drive continuous improvement.
Skills we are looking for
- Completing QC checks on due diligence and screening outputs.
- Performing due diligence and screening alert investigations.
- Providing QC feedback to KYA Analysts.
- Providing technical support to KYA Analysts on complex cases.
- Maintaining QC logs and identifying risk trends, to improve team performance and enhance processes.
- Supporting counterparty communication and outreach.
- Assisting with MI and reporting.
- 2+ years in KYA/KYC/KYB (preferred).
- 1+ year in QC or audit.
- Experience in the asset management sector useful, but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications: Financial Crime qualifications (CAMS / ICA), or ICAEW / ICAS qualified or other relevant qualification.
