Quality Engineer

Shorterm Group is recruiting a skilled Quality Engineer to join a well-established engineering company based in South Oxfordshire.Key Skills & Experience- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Quality Engineer role- Strong ability to interpret complex mechanical engineering drawings- Experience producing inspection reports- Willingness to train and support employees on quality-related topics- CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS) would be an advantageResponsibilities- Liaising with customers and suppliers- Working closely with manufacturing and reporting issues to production supervision- Training operators in inspection techniques and equipment- Producing routine final inspection trend analysis and reports- Managing non-conformances and customer complaints using 8D / 5 Whys methodologiesJob Details- Permanent position- Salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience)- Standard day shift hours- Immediate interviews and start dates available- Candidates must be local to Oxfordshire or willing to relocateIf you’re interested, please apply with your latest CV, and we’ll be in touch.
