    We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Scottish regional business

    Location
    : Paisley / Stepps – Scotland

    Hours
    : 40 ours per week – We can offer some flexibility on hours if desired and hybrid working, just let us know when you speak to us

    What will you be responsible for?

    As a Quantity Surveyor you will take a key role in ensuring commercial success of construction projects that can range from £10M – £100M.

    Your day to day may include:

    • Organising the division of projects into component work packages for procurement at pre construction phase
    • Assessing returns from sub-contractors and awarding work packages.
    • Carrying out site measurements to assess accuracy of applications from sub contractors
    • Managing applications for payment from sub contractor and preparation of applications for payment to clients.
    • Providing accurate information for the senior / managing QS for inclusion in monthly CVR report
    • Preparation of final accounts

    What are we looking for?

    This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

    • You hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
    • Quantity Surveying experience within the Main Contractor environment
    • Understanding of relevant construction contracts (NEC, JCT, SBCC etc)
    • Full UK Driving License
