Your new role
As a Groundworks and Civil Engineer Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of our projects across London. Your responsibilities will include:Cost Estimation: Collaborate with project teams to estimate costs accurately for groundworks and civil engineering activities.Contract Management: Ensure adherence to contract terms, monitor variations, and manage change orders.Budget Control: Track project expenses, analyse cost reports, and implement cost-saving measures.Quantity Measurement: Accurately measure quantities of materials and work completed.Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records related to costs, payments, and contractual agreements.
What you’ll need to succeed
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in groundworks and civil engineering projects.Strong knowledge of cost control, contract administration, and quantity measurement.Excellent communication and negotiation skillsWhat you need to do now
