SE CFO
A Snapshot of Your Day
As Real Estate (“RE”) Location Manager within Middle East & Africa Zone you will be responsible for supporting Middle East & Africa Zone Head as well as Middle East & Africa Zone Finance Head in steering RE business by providing a complete and transparent management of SE Real Estate locations and related RE activities EG and other assigned countries in the Middle East & Africa Zone. Additionally, technical management of zone and interface between the local partners in the countries and Hub Management is expected. In addition to that you are the point of contact for local countries CFOs and local BAs Heads in all RE related topics.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Ensure hundred percent occupancy of leased/owned premises
• Achieve the company’s financial goals
• Fulfill terms and conditions of lease agreements
• Ensure uninterrupted function of technical systems, regular maintenance, and repair of the leased/owned premises
• Manage leased/owned premises in accordance with corporate requirements and business requirements
• Carry out all internal procedures and approvals
• Update databases/portfolio/tools available
• Research the market and work out best solutions for leased/owned properties
• Conclude/renew lease and service agreements
• Control over the terms of contracts; renew/ terminate contracts
• Ensure compliance with terms and conditions of lease/service agreements
• Ensure budget and savings
• Organize regular inspections of leased/owned premises
• Constantly contact with customer/ landlord representatives
• Eliminate detected deficiencies
• Develop measures to improve the efficiency from premises’ use
• Constantly interact with local employees and external partners of Siemens Energy
• Supervise services (if applicable, depends on situation):
– corporate catering
– mailing services
– access control/ cards management
– housekeeping
– parking lots
– other services.
• Organize and control maintenance of leased and own facilities
• Tender/ organize services by external suppliers, vendors
• Conduct tenders in accordance with corporate requirements
• Leased/owned facilities management:
– monthly check space and workstations
– develop recommendations for the efficient use of space using the principles of the office concept (BetterTogether)
– organize and conduct tenders for work and/or services related to the operation of offices/ production plants/ warehouses
– control technical maintenance of premises (recommendations to purchase furniture, technical equipment of the premises, etc if necessary)
• Organize search for office and industrial premises
• Organize office relocations
• Organize repair works in the office and industrial premises
• Implement company requirements
• Responsibility for financial results/reporting.
– budget rental space, services provided, maintenance of office space
– control budget implementation
– organize interaction with commercial staff responsible for leased/ owned premises
What You Bring
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering sciences, Construction or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in RE management related activities
• Technical Knowledge (Excel, Reporting, Basics of financial analysis)
• Good communication and converse good English at professional working proficiency level.
• Previous Real Estate experience is a must
• Ability to be multi-tasking in a dynamic and growing business
• The ability to communicate clearly with different levels of stakeholders across the business and across different countries/cultures.
