Road Freight Clerk

Experienced Road freight Clerk is required for a busy expanding freight forwarder to joining a friendly operations team

Duties would include handling Import / Export Shipments Road shipments from start to finish including custom procedures looking after key accounts

Ideal candidate needs to have at least PREVIOUS 2-3 years’ freight experience within Road imports/exports sector

Desirable:

Use of Boxtop

Understanding of ADR/ HAZ goods

Understanding of T1’s and customs processes for both import and export procedures

Understanding of EUR1’s, Certificate of Origins, Carnets

General knowledge of various modes of transport(Air Sea and Courier experience is an advantage )

Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30hrs

Attractive salary £28K -£32K subject to experience
