    You are passionate about driving the energy transition and modernizing power generation and industrial sectors. You are responsible for driving the growth of New Products and Digital Solutions business in North America. You lead and manage a team of business development and product sales leads, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback. You collaborate with product management and global marketing teams to develop successful market entry strategies and work to secure projects with early adopter customers. You also foster strong relationships with key clients and develop strategies for driving new product sales growth. You travel to customer sites, corporate offices, and industry conferences, which is estimated at 25% of your time.


    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Leading and managing a team: You will provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to a team of business development and product sales leads.
    • Collaborating with product management and global marketing teams: You will develop successful market entry strategies and work to secure projects with early adopter customers.
    • Fostering strong relationships with key clients: You will develop strategies for driving new product sales growth.
    • Guiding the team through sales strategy and LoA process: You will ensure all key projects are aligned with the sales strategy.
    • Staying up-to-date with industry trends: You will use this knowledge to inform business operations and GS strategy teams.
    • Growing and maintaining an active pipeline of projects: You will ensure high forecasting accuracy for a 5-year outlook.
    • Providing quarterly updates to executive management: You will keep them informed about market changes, sales forecasts, and strategic project opportunities.
    • By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will drive the growth of New Products and Digital Solutions business in North America and contribute to the energy transition and modernization of power generation and industrial sectors.

     

    What You Bring

    • Strong leadership and coaching skills: The ability to motivate and develop a team is crucial. Prior experience managing a team is preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree: A degree from an accredited college or university with 10+ years of sales or marketing experience in power generation or industrial processes.
    • Excellent understanding of the utility market: Knowledge of marketing and selling tailored solutions to asset managers is essential.
    • Executive communication skills: The ability to articulate complex solutions to a wide range of internal and external audiences.
    • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools: Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce.com is important.
    • Negotiation experience: The ability to represent Siemens Energy at multiple levels of management.
    • Legal authorization for employment: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
    • By bringing these skills and qualifications, you will be well-equipped to drive the growth of New Products and Digital Solutions business in North America and contribute to the energy transition and modernization of power generation and industrial sectors.

    Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
