IOSH, NEBOSH or similar H&S advanced qualification and relevant estates management experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the school’s estate, ensuring it meets the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Collaborate with external contractors and service providers to execute necessary repairs and renovations
- Manage budgets related to maintenance and facilities, seeking cost-effective solutions
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in estates or facilities management, preferably within an educational setting
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
