    Your new role

    As the Senior Food Quality and Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing technical and quality processes within the production environment. Your responsibilities include: Designing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the HACCP based Quality Management System. Recording, storing, and retrieving records to demonstrate product quality, consistency, and due diligence using industry best practices, customer requirements, BRC standards, and legislative recommendations. Coordinating and managing the HACCP team and activities. Supporting the New Product Development (NPD) function by providing specifications, product information, reference samples, and proofing specifications. Monitoring factory cleaning, housekeeping, and hygiene standards through audits and developing action strategies based on non-conformances. Providing technical guidance, training, and support to other departments. Managing corrective actions, non-conforming ingredients/products, and customer complaints. Ensuring compliance with site accreditations and additional standards required by customers or industry best practices.
    What you’ll need to succeed

    The ideal candidate should have experience as a QA Manager in the food industry, with experience of managing and delivering KPI improvement. You should have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively lead a team and delegate instructions as and when required. It is essential that you are a self-motivated individual who can work well under constant pressure and achieve consistently high results. You should have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft programmes, in particular, Excel, Word and Outlook.
