A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Senior Manager, Accounting, you will be responsible for
preparing financial documents, ensuring timely month-end closings, and
addressing accounting queries. You will lead discussions with auditors,
collaborate with various teams, and support business divisions with forecasting
and budgeting. Additionally, you would drive operational improvements and adopt
digital initiatives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Preparation of Local
Financial Statements as per IndAS & support in Tax audits with Big4 as
auditors.
- Serve as the effective
Business Partner, ensuring timely and accurate month/ quarter-end closing
and reporting. Additionally, handle accounting queries for the assigned
country.
- Lead discussions with
statutory auditors regarding audit of financial statements, including tax
audits, group audits, other local compliances
- Co-ordinate &
collaborate with Accounting service center, Business & other corporate
teams specially for statutory audits & special topics
- Carry out task and the
responsibility in the areas of monthly closing activities and review
journal voucher at month end
- Handling accounting &
reporting queries from Business Divisions for topics like New order,
revenue recognition, derivatives, etc
- Support Business Divisions
& corporates controllers for monthly forecasting & budgeting
- Balance sheet and P&L
reviews to ensure the quality of books & records
- Perform financial
statement reviews and follow-up action items as a result of the review
- Support and partner with
business for trainings on accounting matters and process topics
- Support ad-hoc
requirements/ task (e.g. Global projects, digitalization initiatives, Hub
process harmonization)
What You Bring
- Professional qualification
of Chartered Accountant is required
- Working experience of 8-10
years post qualification in accounting & finance. Experience with MNC
is preferred.
- Solid knowledge and
experience in accounting for construction contracts, Forex accounting,
provisions and accrual
- Well versed with IFRS
& IndAS standards, GST and direct tax laws, rules and regulations
- Working level knowledge of
SAP FICO module in SAP.
- Able to work
independently, self-motivated, possess analytical skills and ability to
adapt to changes
- Take initiative in
providing solutions and also advice business divisions on accounting
matters.
- Familiarity with Finance
processes (e.g. financial closing, reporting, budgeting, forecasting) and
systems (e.g. SAP Business Warehouse, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud,
Alteryx)
- Someone who thrives in an
international environment and possess excellent communication and English
skills both orally and in writing
- Contribute to operational
improvement initiatives and drive their successful implementation.
