Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:45 – 17:15 (37.5 hours per week)

Are you a Senior OT available for an immediate start?

We are seeking a highly experienced Occupational Therapist for a three-month interim assignment within a fast-paced Adult Reablement Team in Wiltshire. This role is perfect for a practitioner who enjoys community autonomy and has the clinical expertise to hit the ground running.

The Assignment

Working within a therapist-led reablement service, you will be responsible for managing a complex caseload aimed at preventing hospital admissions and facilitating safe discharges.

• Assessments: Undertaking urgent strengths-based assessments in client homes.

• Equipment: Rapid provision of specialist equipment and minor/major home adaptations.

• Moving & Handling: Providing expert advice on complex handling plans.

• Support: Offering clinical guidance to the wider reablement support worker team.

Requirements

• HCPC Registration (Essential).

• Significant Social Care/Community Experience: You must be comfortable with DFG processes and the Care Act.

• Availability: ASAP

• Transport: A full driving license and access to a vehicle for daily community visits is required.
