Due to a recently awarded projects a Tier 1 Civil Engineering contractor is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to complement their Commercial team working on large infrastructure projects in Berkshire and Surrey.

Work location is hybrid arrangement.
The Role
Post-graduate commercial experience in the construction industry with demonstrable track record of achievement (essential)
Preparing monthly progress valuations and claims for work completed within deadlines
Producing monthly cost reports, forecasts, and Contract Budget reports
Management and agreement of Compensation Events and Change on the projects
Providing support to Commercial Manager and liaising with Customers Commercial Team
Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive
Must be customer focused by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs
Experience Required
- Suitable applicants will be educated to BSc Quantity Surveying or similar and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of commercial success working on civil engineering or utility projects for tier 1 or tier 2 contractors. A thorough understanding of NEC contracts is essential.
