Snapshot of Your Day
As VAT Specialist in our VAT Compliance Center you will be responsible
for managing and optimizing VAT compliance and reporting processes. You will
collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely VAT filings,
while also providing strategic advice on VAT-related matters. Your role will
involve staying updated on VAT regulations and implementing best practices to
minimize risks and enhance efficiency.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Ensure timely and accurate VAT Filing and Reporting across multiple
jurisdictions - Manage and optimize VAT-related processes in SAP
- Collaborate with internal departments and external consultants to
resolve VAT-related queries - Perform VAT accounts reconciliation and VAT analysis and stay up to date regarding all VAT relevant changes of the
regulations across Europe - Supporting the SAP S/4 VAT requirement implementation
- Mentor and develop team members from an operational point of view in
accordance with business requirements
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance,
Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees and
certifications in Accounting and/or Tax are a plus. - Several years of experience in VAT
compliance or a related role, with a proven track record of managing VAT
processes and reporting. - In-depth knowledge of European VAT
regulations and compliance requirements, with experience in VAT reporting. - Proficiency in SAP, particularly in
finance and tax modules (e.g., FI, CO, SD, MM), along with a strong
understanding of data management and analysis tools. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving
skills, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle
multiple tasks independently. - Strong communication and interpersonal
abilities and an excellent command of English
