    Successful candidates will have a unique experienceworking on or supporting the latest ground-breaking cyber securityand networking technologies on a national and international scale.This opportunity will allow those involved to have first-handexposure to the latest technologies via the research anddevelopment that we are undertaking to secure ourtelecommunications networks, in order to keep the UK the safestplace to live and do business online. It also gives exposure tosenior government department officials, communications industryleaders and academic professionals, all key stakeholders in thework of UKTL as you help UKTLs leaders to coordinate meetings andbriefings.

    As a trusted andindependent national capability, the UKTL will interact at theintersection of standards bodies, such as 3GPP, the National CyberSecurity Centre and the wider UK intelligence community, academia,Ofcom, as well as Communications Service Providers andtelecommunication equipment vendors.

    This role will be part of asmall team of Vulnerability Researchers, tackling some of the mostinteresting cyber problems with a meaningful and tangible impact onthe national security of the UK. You will be instrumental instanding up an industry-leading securityfacility.

    This role will thereforerequire a focus on consistent learning and development of both selfand the team. The role will have the opportunity to develop andencourage a wider network of VR specialists across the telecomsindustry to support wider knowledge sharing and skillsdevelopment.


    SuccessfulApplicants must be able to commute to the UKTL offices inBirmingham with the possibility of hybridworking.
