Service Engineer (Nights)
Service Engineer (Nights) – 4 on 4 off.
Your new company
Hays are currently working with a leading provider of power generation systems who offer a wide range of solutions to a wide range of industries. They pride themselves on being the best and deliver top-notch installation, maintenance, and repair services to their customers. We are seeking a skilled and experienced electrician to join this well-established and exciting business.
Your new role
- Carry out planned service and maintenance work on both hire fleet and customer equipment.
- Fault location, diagnosis and rectification to hire fleet and customer equipment.
- Preparation of equipment for hire.
- Installation and disconnection of equipment on site. (Synchronising where appropriate).
- Installation and commissioning of power to temporary site accommodation. (Wiring in where appropriate).
- Loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Carry out duties on call out rota system.
- Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure.
- Promote teamwork and co-operation at all times, both within individual depots and right across the entire Generator Power Group of Companies.
- Proactively contribute to the company’s policy of continuous improvement
- Follow Health Safety Quality and Environmental guidelines provided by the company – currently ISO 9001:14001 and OHSAS 18001 procedures, including all future notifications.
What you’ll need to succeed
- GCSE High School or equivalent.
- Apprenticeship in Engineering
- City & Guilds Qualifications
- Fork Lift Truck Licence
- Experience on generators/plant equipment/heavy engineering
