    Landlord Services Reorganisation Officer

    Job Opportunity: Service Reorganisation position

    An interim opportunity has arisen for a Landlord Service Officer to support senior management with the reorganisation of the Landlord Services team. This role involves managing operational tasks, preparing essential documentation, and coordinating key activities to ensure a smooth and compliant implementation of the approved restructuring plan.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare documentation for job evaluations.
    • Draft and refine job descriptions for roles within the restructured Landlord Services team.
    • Prepare paperwork and supporting materials required for job evaluations.
    • Develop clear and concise communication materials for staff, union representatives, and other stakeholders.
    • Assist in preparing briefing sessions for all relevant audiences.
    • Work collaboratively with the team to manage the formal consultation process.
    • Organise and facilitate one-to-one consultation meetings with staff.
    • Support the job matching process, ensuring fairness and compliance with policies.
    • Provide administrative and coordination support to ensure all stages of the restructure are delivered effectively.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the process.
    • Ensure all activities adhere to organisational policies, employment legislation, and best practices.
    • Address queries from stakeholders and staff professionally and in line with policy.

    What We’re Looking For:

    Experience in preparing for reorganisation within the social housing field. Ability to work under considerable pace and initiative.

    Essential Criteria:

    • Demonstrated experience in housing and/or tenancy management.
    • Proven track record of supporting restructures, reorganisations, or similar operational processes.
    • Strong understanding of job evaluation processes and tools.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare effective communications for diverse audiences.
    • Experience working with staff undergoing reorganisation, trade unions, and members in a public sector context.
    • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

    Desirable Criteria:

    • Familiarity with employment law and best practices in restructuring and consultation processes.
    • Previous experience in coordinating and facilitating one-to-one consultations and job matching.
    • Experience working in a local authority or housing association environment.
