    Salary: Grade 11-14 (£45,510 – £53,607)

    Permanent – 36 hours per week
    Welcome Payment – £5,000
    Retention Payment – £2,500

    Job Purpose

    As a Social Worker in the Families Together Service, you will be holding a well-managed case load of young people who are at risk of entering the care of the Local Authority, including assessing and supporting 16-17 Homeless young people alongside Croydon Housing.

    You will work with a passionate and dedicated team of social workers and Edge of Care workers to prevent entry to Local Authority Care.

    Essential Requirements

    Qualified and registered Social Workers / Advanced Social Workers who are Social Work England registered, and have completed your AYSE
    Experienced in making assessments, implementing plans and delivering interventions.

    Sound knowledge of the Croydon 16-17 Homeless Protocol.
    Skilled in managing complex cases and competent in presenting cases in court with demonstrable professionalism and empathy
    Your experience of working in a statutory setting is desirable however not essential
