We are looking for experienced Solder operators for our electronics PCB client based in Livingston. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment to IPC standards and have the ability to work towards meeting output deadlines.
You will be working in a busy production and manufacturing environment where attention to detail is essential. We are looking for reliable people who are able to remain focused whilst under pressure to achieve accurate and on-time delivery. Applicants who are invited to interview will also be required to demonstrate their soldering skills.
The roles are available on either a permanent or contract basis and will be depending on skills, experience and the desired or needed employment requirements of applicants. Additional overtime is also regularly available in the evenings and weekends and is paid at the rate of time-and-a-half Monday to Saturday (almost £17 per hour) and double-time on a Sunday (over £22 per hour).
Please note – your Pin Through Hole solderer experience must be clearly noted on your CV or covering letter. The company will also have general electronics / production operator roles coming up in the near future (box building, ancillary work, etc) which require general similar job role / electronics industry or similar experience. Please say on your covering note if it is future roles like this that you would like to be considered for when they come up rather than these current soldering positions.
Applications will be treated with the strictest of confidence. If you feel that you meet the requirements for this role and would like to apply, please do so through the link provided and please also provide your CV in Word format.
