    A Snapshot of Your Day

    Do you like to tackle problems that help others and provide the best Service possible to our Large Gas Turbine customers? As a Spare Part Manager in the Global Service Operations organization, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our global fleets of more than 2000 Gas Turbines in Siemens Energy. You will work collaboratively with teammates around the globe supporting both our new part business and our repair facilities, e.g. in Berlin and Mülheim. Work with our global project colleagues to support their needs and ensure we deliver on our customer requirements. This position will report to Phil Carpenter, Global Head of Fleet Management for 8000H and 9000HL Gas Turbines but may support across multiple gas turbine fleets.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Return management of used major gas turbine components
    • Support in procurement of spare parts (new and used)
    • Clarification of unutilized project- and customer stocks
    • Ensuring delivery capability and reliability
    • Support in the implementation of solutions for technical problems
    • Partnership and support of internal customers, e.g. sales, PM, with commercial or technical questions regarding major components
    • Support in the optimization of logistical processes and inventory management

    What You Bring

    • You have graduated from university, preferred Mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or Data Science, or gained experience in any related field (Field Service Engineer or Commissioning Engineer).
    • You bring experience regarding power plants and spare parts.
    • Basic knowledge of business administration and of the relevant market environment.
    • You speak English on a sophisticated level. German is an excellent plus, Spanish helps.
    • You are a very good communicator along with problem solving and proactive skills.
    • Excellent team skills with effective communication & social skills to blend in a multicultural and cross-regional working team, but also like to work independently.
    • Terms like empowerment and self-driven-agile teams is nothing new for you.
    • You work in an organized manner and do not hesitate to ask questions and address your ideas.
    • You have sophisticated MS Office365 applications skills, preferred first experience in data exploring as well as SAP capabilities.
