A Snapshot of Your
Day
As
the SQM you are part of our corporate Supplier Quality & Development (SQD)–
Quality, Processes & Development team. You are responsible for leading a
distributed team providing governance in terms of definition, simplification,
standardization, transparency & digitalization of SQD processes, related
important metrics, tools and programs.
How
You’ll Make an Impact
- Initiate,
define, implement and continuously improve SQ related standards,
guidelines and projects/programs (incl. Audit Program) in close
cooperation with the business, propose and implement quality related
analyses, key performance indicators, concepts, methods and tools. - Ensure
transparency on defined critical metrics through data analytics standards
to enable the business to manage their processes. - Provide
knowledge by using pioneering knowledge management platforms and tools and
by ensuring provision of trainings on SQ standards, tools and processes. - Guide
the organization and foster cross-functional collaboration across SQD and
with Procurement, Quality Management, and Project Management organizations. - Drive
and coach SQ related projects towards standardization, simplification and
digitalization - Ensure
compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements as well as
compliance with the defined Supplier Quality & Development procedures
and standards in the supply chain.
What
You Bring
- Bachelor’s
degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering or similar,
master’s degree preferred. - Longstanding
professional experience in (Supplier) Quality Management, specifically
process management, digitalization and data management - Longstanding
experience in managing people/projects, preferably team leadership
experience within international teams - Adequate
capability to negotiate and to operate in different cultures - Strong
communication skills in English, additional languages preferred. - Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in
the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored
work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship
may
be eligible
for internal transfers.

Our team is actively supporting the Siemens
Energy Procurement Transformation, a global initiative launched to optimize the
functionality of Siemens Energy Procurement, both with focus on the
organization and on digitalization opportunities. We are looking for a driven,
self-motivated individual with excellent project management skills to support
the successful integration of our BPO provider.
